Automated Rotary High Force Marker Band Swaging Equipment

MSI SW650S Marker Band Swaging Equipment automatically positions and swages marker bands within tight manufacturing tolerances.
The MSI SW650S Marker Band Swaging Equipment automatically positions and swages marker bands within tight manufacturing tolerances. Intended for PTA and PTCA product manufacturing, the swager's dual-stage processing also shortens cycle times. The pick and place loading option allows for continuous, automated processing. The profile driven SW650S includes an integrated PLC control system with PC touch screen interface for easy process development and quick product change over.

The SW650S laser sensor and segmented servo actuated pre-swage system precisely positions and pre-swages marker bands. The handling system then moves product to the swage head for final swage with an Element™-style head. Two products are run at once to maximize product throughput. The SW650S combines accurate automated positioning with high force swaging to produce a uniform repeatable final product.
