MSI Vertical Shrinker, VS1000, is PC controlled and features our Microswirl 360°TM thermal nozzle that provides superior uniform heating characteristics and minimizes the incidence of hot or cold spots during the shrinking process versus flat or "C" nozzle technologies.
The MSI Vertical Shrinker, VS1000, is PC controlled and features our Microswirl 360°TM thermal nozzle that provides superior uniform heating characteristics and minimizes the incidence of hot or cold spots during the shrinking process versus flat or "C" nozzle technologies. The touchscreen PC operator interface is designed for saving and retrieving numerous programmable parameter profiles.

The MSI Vertical Shrinker is capable of 6 length and speed transitions within a single cycle and features tubing guides to ensure product centering within the heat zone and independent temperature control of each thermal nozzle.

The MSI Vertical Shrinker overcomes the problems associated with longitudinal elongation and uneven recovery of the shrink tubing versus use of ovens.

Specifications:
1. Heater controls: The heaters are controlled independently with the ability to
run the machine with 1 to 4 heaters in operation. Flow meters have a built in
flow control valve allowing accurate heater airflow control and monitoring.
2. Adjustable chuck assembly loading height.
3. Chuck assembly: Chuck has a working diameter of .010"- .090" without
tooling changes.
4. Forced air heater assembly: The forced air heaters will have an operating
range of ambient to 750ºF (399ºC) with a tolerance of (+/-) 5ºF. The
heater nozzles utilize expanded metal technology to produce an even
temperature distribution around the ID circumference.
5. Software driven with touch screen interface: The software allows up to six
traverse speed and distance relationships to be set. The set up can be
stored for future product runs. An arm assembly is used on the monitor for
ergonomic placement by the technician.
6. Castering wheels with levelers.
7. Aluminum extrusion modular frame with PVC and SS panels is incorporated
into the rear sub-panel to reduce heating of the surrounding environment.
Customer will provide the blower and ducting required for connection and
exhausting from manufacturing environment. A 4" duct connection will be
providedon the rear machine panel.
8. Maximum product length 175cm (69"), minimum product length 5cm (2").
9. Heater assembly traversing is accomplished using a linear slide driven with a
stepper motor. Max speed of 100mm/sec.
