MSI FFS workstation equipment is our complete manufacturing solution for pleating and folding angioplasty or stent delivery balloon catheters.
The MSI FFS workstation equipment is our complete manufacturing solution for pleating and folding angioplasty or stent delivery balloon catheters. The equipment is servo motor driven and controlled by a touch screen PC. The workstation technology incorporates advanced process controls and data acquisition capabilities including: barcode scanning capabilities and light curtain feature.

Our FFS workstation technology allows for multiple pleat head configurations on the same equipment base thus increasing equipment capabilities and eliminating any down time during equipment changeovers. PC controls allow for data collection of the applied force to activation arms and diameter settings during pleating and folding.

components (pleat head, fold head, catheter handling system) +/- .003”.
• Thermal control adjustable from 25°C to 150°C.
• V-block position sensor activated with optical solid state limit/home switches.
• Software controlled open/close diameters +/- .001”.

• Automated servo motor position and advance catheter handling system,
hard v-block, 60mm length with improved clamping system.
